Tell Rick Scott: Stop the Florida Voter Purge: Help us reach 100,000 signatures on our petition standing with the Justice Department against Republicans’ attempts to deny Americans the right to vote. https://www.dccc.org/florida-voter-purge The Governor of Florida and a couple of other states want to make sure Romney wins the electoral votes for their state. Rick Scott is using his usual 'under the table, bottom of the deck dealing tactics.' He needs to be stopped. He is destroying Florida selling the very water from it's aquifers. Now he intends to help Romney defeat Our President through false and illegal means.

Thirty Seven Years
I am not ranting or raging today. Thirty seven years ago today I married a boy. Today I wait to welcome home the man he is today. A better person can not be found in this world. Oh, he has his faults of that be assured.
He has to have proof, he never takes your word. He is messy, never putting things away. Some say he drinks to much, but I guess that depends on whose measure you use.
I know he is kind and tender of heart. When our pets get sick it rips at him apart. He only wants the best for everyone. No matter how mean or bad a person appears, he will find the good. Or say that they are that way because of fear.
I know that he has never let me down. He has helped me through some messes and he is always kind. He is not the boy I married and that is just fine. I am not that girl from long ago. They faded as we grew they were not meant to stay. They were the lust for flesh, for freedom, life. We are now two people who are really in love. We know that now because we are old enough to know what it really is. That boy and girl were young and eager. Groping and grabbing never feeling the feeling. They had fun, but then the end would come and they frustrated as they were were itchy and glum. The man and the woman that we have become are content to go slowly, to savor the best. Then when life is harder we remember those times and embrace that easy feeling and hold on tight. Tight to each other through thick and through thin. That's us, that is me and him we are together forever or at least until THE END.

Raging at Stupidity and the Futile Efforts to Understand
How many times have you ever just been blown away by something someone has done or said? Your thinking why? Why are you doing that? Can't you see how bad, fruitless, rude, and just plain stupid you are? Some really intense arguments with myself have resulted from the things people say. They're talking away totally unaware that I am not for a minute believing, buying, or being entertained even by their silly ramblings.
Wait, your thinking isn't that just what your doing? Rambling on about the stupid things people say and do. Well yeah in a way I am. The difference is I am not talking to someone and telling them how If they would just up my pain meds. I would be better off. All the while (and it can be a long minute depending on the level of lucidity) wondering off on other topics, making vulgar comments to other people. I would never, ever, presume that someone, anyone, even the big corporations owed me anything. If you use a service and the company providing the service sends you a bill, you pay it. You don't bitch about how they are a terrible company. Pay the damn bill and if you can't pay it all talk to them they will usually try to work with you.
People should do their best to be the best person they can. I am by no means a genius, not even close. But I try to live and let live truly. I accept even the stupid people for what they are. I may limit the contact I have with . them. There are some I have no contact with at all. I don't try to change the person, just set the example. Behave respectfully with everyone and if occasionally I am pushed to the edge and have to have my say. I try to do it without vulgarity and name calling. Simply make the point that they are behavior is objectionable and walk away. That or I write it all down and let the poison out through the pen.
Do only those things you would like for others to do. Say only those things you would want said to you. Set the example for those who may not have one. If those things don't work just walk away. They are right you know all those people of one liner fame You can lead a horse to the stream, put the child in the classroom, or put the instructions on the bottom, and sometimes they just refuse.
